White Yarrow

Perennial, Achillea millefolium, Known by many other names, including bloodwort, ladies mantle, staunch weed, old man’s pepper, and devil's nettle. Round or oval shaped, clusters of flowers forming a flat white top. Flowers heads are flat and 2" to 6" across. Delicate feathery, fern like foliage, that has a herbal scent.   Attract butterflies. Dried and cut flowers are used in arrangements. Very easy to grow. Propagate from seeds, by root division or from woody cuttings. Surface sow. Light is necessary for the seeds to germinate. Germinates in 20 - 45 days. Drought tolerant. Full sun to partial shade.
