Peruvian Lily

Perennial, Alstroemeria "Parrot Lily", A mix of bright colors (orange, red, yellow and mauve), fragant, 2" showy flowers. Has narrow stem leaves that are twisted at the base with thick tuberous roots. Can be grown outside or as a container plant. It's a great cutflower, lasting up to two weeks in a vase with water.   Soak the seeds overnight, sow seeds just below the soil surface, lightly cover and keep moist. Requires between two weeks and a year to germinate. Full to partial sun.
