Ornamental Peppers

Annual, Prairie Fire, Capsicum annuum, Also known as "Christmas Peppers". Produces edible upright fruits maturing yellow to orange to red at full maturity, constantly changing colors. Peppers are hot, wear gloves if you will be handling the pepper seeds. The peppers will mature in 90-100 days. The fruits can be removed as soon as they emerge or shortly thereafter, which will encourage the plant to keep flowering. Excellent as a bedding plant or border plant. Sow 1 - 2 seeds per plant. Keep moist until germination. Germination time: 14 - 21 days.
