Perennial, Lupinus poyphyllus, A traditional garden favorite. Has tall flower spikes with a large range of colors, solids and bi-colors in reds, pinks, blues, yellows, and whites. Blooms open from the bottom up. Makes great cut flowers. Great size for the back of the border. Attracts birds and butterflies. Deer resistant. Easy to grow. Lupine doesn't like to be transplanted. Sow in the Spring, after the last average frost , 1/2" deep and 18" - 24" apart. Sun/Partial shade.
