Blue Sage Salvia

Perennial, Tubular lipped vivid blue flowers. The dark blue flowers are around 3/4" long. The long, narrow leaves grow in clusters, out of which grow the flower stems. Blooms for months. Grown as an annual in most cold winter areas. Extremely hardy plant. Germinates in 10 - 30 days. This type of salvia may need light to moderate shade instead of full sun. It will not do well in areas with very low humidity. Sow 1/16" deep, cover lightly. Can start seeds indoors 10 weeks before last frost.
