Annual Moluccella laevis, Produces clusters of pale green to emerald green, bell-shaped, papery calyx flowers along a tall green stem.  Has a very distinctive and difficult to describe scent.  Great as a cut flower or as a dried flower.  Store the seeds in the refrigerator for two weeks before planting.  Plant in the spring after all danger of frost has passed, 8-12" apart.  Needs cold to germinate.  Surface sow, they also need light to germinate.  Self sowing.  Germinates in 20-35 days.  Full sun to partial shade.
