Aster, Wartburg Star

Perennial. Shades of light violet/blue, with vivid orange centers. Long lived, very showy and easy to grow, with 2 1/4" blooms. Blooms freely all summer and well into the fall. Dense dark green foliage. Great for rock gardens and edging. Makes great cut flowers! Tolerates drought, heat and humidity. Low maintenance. Full/partial sun. Germination is spread out over many weeks at 68ºF.   Surface sow seeds, light needed for best results.
